What to expect

A consultation concentrates on finding the source of your discomfort and focuses on treating the affected areas, as well as the surrounding muscles.  After a deep warm up, different techniques are used to break down adhesions and areas of tension.   This massage can be adapted to encompass different areas of the body in one session and is tailor-made to suit your requirements.

We also offer chair massage which is a clothed, non-oil treatment of the back, shoulders, neck, arms and hands. Clients will be comfortably seated in a massage chair whilst the therapist employs pressure work to ease muscular tension, reduce stress levels and improve alertness. Separate prices can be given for chair massage on request as these sessions tend to be shorter.

About me

Massage in action

Are you feeling muscle pain or tightness when exercising or playing sports? My husband would continuously return home from playing sport describing various aches and pains whilst leaving me to do my best in massaging his ailments.

After achieving my diploma in sports massage (much to my husbands delight!) I have an array of experience in resolving muscle pains typically associated with sport, fatigue and an active body.

I offer a personalised muscle therapy service within a purpose built facility either as individual sessions or a full programme of works to remedy pain. A full assessment is always undertaken to ensure that therapy is focused where needed.
I am always more than happy to describe a typical session or discuss any pains you may be suffering from.

As a Mum of 3 children (who are all growing up too fast) whilst achieving accreditation I realised that I couldn't remember when I last had the time to do something for myself. Equally I enjoy knowing that the client feels the benefits of the sessions we have shared.

'The Muscle Therapist' is now open as I would like the opportunity to help others and provide a professional service.
